A little help
with your next clip.
Capture the moment, keep the part you want, and export it when you’re ready.
Contact support
Email admin@yuzupatch.com for help with Clipper or a privacy request. You do not need a Yuzu account.
For a useful bug report, include the Clipper version, iPhone model, iOS version, the steps you took, and any error message. If an external microphone was connected, include its type. Avoid sending private recordings or sensitive information.
You choose what to send. We use your sender address, message, and any attachments to respond to your request. Read the iPhone privacy policy for more about support and local clips.
TestFlight testers can also send feedback from Clipper’s page in the TestFlight app.
How much history can I save?
The manual controls offer 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, and 5 minutes. Clipper can save only as much history as it has captured so far. It cannot recover footage from before capture began.
Keep Clipper in the foreground while capturing and until saving finishes. Switching apps or locking your iPhone stops capture and discards unsaved history. Flipping or changing cameras and adjusting zoom preserve available history. Changing the microphone starts a fresh current buffer. A camera change can leave a brief recording gap.
How do I trim or export?
Open Clips and select a movie. Opening it pauses capture after the current recording segment finishes. Drag the left and right trim handles to choose the part you want. Drag the playhead to preview another point without changing the trim.
Choose Save to Photos in the editor to export your selected trim, or the original if you made no edit. An edited copy also stays in Clipper. Save as New Clip keeps an edit only in Clipper, and the clip’s actions menu offers sharing to another app or Files. The original stays in your library. Photos access is requested only for adding a clip. Keep Clipper open until saving completes and check the exported copy. If Photos access was denied, use Open Photos Settings and retry.
Why did capture stop?
Calls, camera or microphone interruptions, a disconnected input, low storage, or device heat can interrupt capture. Read the status message. If finalized history is still available, save what you need before choosing Start a fresh buffer.
If permission was denied, open iPhone Settings, find Clipper, and allow camera and microphone access. Return to Clipper to retry. Sources shown in Clipper depend on what iOS makes available.
For storage problems, export clips you want to keep and confirm that the copies play before deleting originals. If your iPhone is hot, stop using capture and let it cool before trying again.
How do hands-free clips work?
In Clipper Settings, turn on Hands-free clips and allow Speech Recognition. When the voice indicator is ready, say “clip 30 seconds” or “clip two minutes.” English commands support durations from one second to five minutes of available history.
Voice control requires on-device English recognition and uses the selected capture microphone. If it is unavailable, use the manual clip button and follow the status message in Settings. Keep the app open while listening and saving.
The spoken command may be included at the end of the clip. You can trim it out afterward. Voice control pauses during clip review and spoken feedback.
Why is there a small seam or different sound?
Clipper records temporary segments. A clip spanning a segment transition can contain a short seam. Check important clips all the way through after saving.
A Bluetooth microphone can use a voice-oriented audio profile that sounds narrower than a built-in or wired microphone. Available inputs and recording quality depend on your iPhone, accessory, and iOS audio route.
Where are my clips, and how do I delete them?
Saved clips live inside Clipper and remain between sessions. In Clips, open a clip’s more-actions menu, choose Delete, and confirm. This removes only the Clipper copy; delete exported copies separately in Photos, Files, or the destination app.
Deleting Clipper removes its local app data. Offloading can keep that data, and existing device or computer backups may contain separate copies. Clipper has no cloud clip library or deleted-clip recovery service.
You can use Clipper without an account. Read the iPhone privacy policy for details about permissions, voice processing, exports, and backups.
What happens when I pause or review a clip?
Pause and opening a saved clip stop capture after the current segment finishes. Closing review resumes capture if it was running before. If you paused manually, choose Resume when you are ready.
After capture resumes, open Clips → Before last pause to save available footage from the previous stretch. It shares the five-minute history budget with new capture and expires as new footage replaces it, a later pause with new captured footage replaces it, or you leave the app. Save anything you want to keep. A clip never joins footage from opposite sides of a pause.
Do I need a Yuzu account?
No. Capture, playback, trimming, deletion, and exports work without one. To connect an account, open Settings → Connect Yuzu account and choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. Use the same Google account as Visualizer if you want the same shared Yuzu identity. Connecting does not upload your clips or add cloud sync.
To end this Clipper session, open the account screen and choose Sign out. This does not delete your shared Yuzu account or sign you out of every other Yuzu product.
How do I delete my Yuzu account?
Open the account screen in Clipper Settings, choose Delete Yuzu account, and confirm. This removes your shared Yuzu account, Visualizer onboarding profile and feedback, and hosted creator shares, and ends its account sessions. Saved Clipper movies and copies in Photos, Files, other apps, with other people, or in backups remain where they are stored.
If the account is linked to Apple, reconnect that same Apple Account when prompted so its authorization can be revoked. If reconnecting or automatic revocation fails, you can choose Delete account without reconnecting Apple and confirm separately. After deletion succeeds, follow Clipper’s instructions to manually remove Yuzu’s access from your Apple Account’s Sign in with Apple settings.
If deletion reports a failure, retry or email admin@yuzupatch.com with the displayed message. If needed, sign in again before retrying. For access, correction, or another privacy request, use the same support address. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.
